The Swoosh conglomerate has been busy over the last two months. With so much attention being placed to Jordan Brand's 40th anniversary and Converse's first signature model for Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, the annual Air Max Month celebration had seemingly fallen to the wayside. A newly-surfaced project with Division Street, however, reveals at least one of the things that've been prepped for March 26: A University of Oregon-inspired Nike Air Max 95/97 hybrid trio.

Unveiled via social media with the help of photographer Andy Dutton (@ad__sneaks), the latest collaboration between the Swoosh and its founder's alma mater delivers an unexpected design. Reminiscent of both Skepta and Sean Wotherspoon's hybrid Air Maxes from 2017 and 2018, respectively, the sneaker couples Christian Tresser's iconic upper creation with Sergio Lozano's 30-year-old sole unit design. The result is a mish-mash of retro Nike Running product that works well – especially in University of Oregon colors.

Firm release details were confirmed by GOAT on Monday, March 10. The hybrid project will drop on GOAT and at Flight Club locations, with proceeds benefitting members of Division Street.

For the uninformed, Division Street is an organization founded by Phil Knight and other members of the University of Oregon's community. It sets out to empower student-athletes at the school, facilitating deals relating to their Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL). To this end, the group raises money with limited-edition, Oregon Ducks-inspired Nike footwear. Last year's Air Max 1 emerged in a similar color palette and with nods to the Pacific Northwestern university all-throughout the shoe. Air Max Day 2025's offering does the same, but its vibrant green tones also fall in line with the Air Max 95's original 'Neon' look, which celebrates its 30th anniversary this year.

A representative of GOAT shared with House of Heatº that the three color schemes of the mish-mash design are 'Lightning,' 'Thunder,' and 'Storm.' Dutton unveiled the 'Storm' offering last week, whereas an official press release from the after-market platform shared detailed shots of the other two styles. The accompanying pairs feature similar Ducks of A Feather-appropriate details, and color palettes that breathe new life into the hybrid design. Glow-on-the-dark Airbags round out the trio.

The 'Lightning' pair will be available via raffle beginning on Saturday, March 15. In-store pick-up will be offered at Flight Club Tokyo starting Friday, March 21. Pairs will also be available via the GOAT app across the Asia-Pacific region beginning on Monday, March 24.

The Air Max 95/97 'Thunder' will be offered to Europe, Middle East, and Africa regions via the GOAT app on Friday, March 21.

Finally, the project's 'Storm' style will be available at Flight Club New York, Los Angeles, and Miami on Saturday, March 22. Pairs will become available globally via the GOAT app on Wednesday, March 26, in celebration of Air Max Day 2025.
