Eric Koston x Nike SB Air Max 95 Releases Holiday 2025

Eric Koston continues strengthening the bridge between Nike SB and the broader Nike Sportswear ecosystem. After fronting the SNKRS Shock Drop release of the Nike SB x Air Jordan 4 “Midnight Navy,” the skateboarding legend now turns his attention to a new silhouette: the Nike SB Air Max 95

Slated for Holiday 2025, the upcoming Eric Koston x Nike SB Air Max 95 “Obsidian” is one of the first entries in Nike’s crossover push between SB and core sportswear models. Following in the footsteps of Jordan Brand collaborations—and just ahead of similar efforts with the Air Force 1—this release blends performance skateboarding features with the iconic Air Max 95 design.

Newly surfaced images reveal an upper dressed in Obsidian hues, contrasted by shaggy suede and white mesh overlays. Speed Yellow accents hit the eyelets, Swooshes, and custom tongue tags, which read “Koston” and “airmax” in stylized ovals. Further nods to the skater’s Thai heritage arrive via handwritten-style Thai script embroidered on the toe that reads "Nike." The collaboration includes co-branded “Nike SB Air” heel stamps and special grid-inscribed insoles featuring stylized Air Max tooling graphics.

As with most Nike SB collabs, expect modifications under the hood for board-readiness, including altered insoles, padding, and construction tweaks. While a release date hasn’t been locked in, the pair is expected to hit select retailers and Nike.com later this Holiday season.
