New Balance Applies A Muted "Pearl Grey" to the ABZORB 2000
New Balance's fairly-novel ABZORB 2000 has been quickly building out its roster of color schemes. Launched in a "Blue Agate" option, the silhouette recently emerged in a more muted "Pearl Grey/Black" makeover.
Akin to the newly-surfaced "Rose Sugar" option, the grey-heavy New Balance ABZORB 2000 features a gradient finish across its mesh base. Synthetic overlays around the forefoot and hind-foot revert to a tonal look, with curved and straight lines coming together to form a sporty aesthetic. The large, New Balance 9060-reminiscent sole unit underfoot keeps things on color theme, showcasing the ABZORB SBS units in an anthracite-like hue.
Together, every element helps create a refreshing take on New Balance's signature grey ensembles.
Firm NewBalance.com release details haven't been disclosed by the brand as of yet, but the "Pearl Grey"-accented ABZORB 2000 is expected to launch by October. The sneaker is priced at $170.
