"Rose Sugar" New Balance ABZORB 2000 Channels Cherry Blossoms
Throughout the last 25 years, New Balance has been widely associated with "dad shoes" and the color grey, two elements that led countless consumers to ignore the century-old company. Strategic partnerships, elevated marketing, and a healthy stream of new silhouettes, however, have turned the tides for the brand.
Earlier in the year, the North American stalwart teased the New Balance ABZORB 2000, a vis-tech proposal the reimagines running heritage through a futuristic lens. Thus far, most styles of the novel silhouette have favored tonal makeups, but a newly-surfaced "Rose Sugar" pair unites a few colors across the eye-catching design. Pink gradients animate mesh bases, while the synthetic overlays throughout the upper keep things tamer in soft rose and white. Grey takes on the profile N logos and mid-foot shanks, while the ABZORB SBS-assisted sole unit reverts to a deeper "Burgundy" hue.
Enjoy official photos of the latest ABZORB 2000 ahead. Pairs should release via NewBalance.com and select retailers for $170 before fall arrives.
