Nike continues to make waves this week with its surprise week-long restock event featuring some of the most beloved Air Jordan releases of recent years. Kicking off on August 5, Nike dropped a lineup of fan-favorite retros, offering a second chance to those who missed out the first time around.
Day one saw the return of the Air Jordan 9 “Cool Grey” and Air Jordan 8 “Aqua,” two colorways that rarely resurface and hold strong nostalgic value for Jordan fans. Also hitting the app were the Air Jordan 14 “Ferrari” with its bold red suede and luxury-inspired styling, the low-top Air Jordan 11 Low “Bred,” the Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Rookie of the Year,” and the timeless Air Jordan 4 “White Cement.”
The final wave of the event is set for August 8, headlined by the Air Jordan 5 “Black Metallic” Reimagined, the Swarovski x Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Stealth,” and the Air Jordan 3 “Seoul 2.0.” Rumors suggest Nike may have one more surprise in store later that day, making it worth keeping an eye on our official twitter throughout the afternoon. A separate restock is also planned for the EU region, according to EldenMonitors.
Select pairs will be available in full family sizing, though availability may vary by product and will be limited to the US and EU regions. SNKRS members are encouraged to keep notifications on, as these restocks are expected to be released via Shock Drop or Exclusive Access formats.
With demand still high for classic Jordan styles, this restock serves as a reminder of Nike’s strategy to re-engage its core audience while pushing out key inventory ahead of the Fall season.
The first wave of restocks is expected to be available here throughout the week on Nike.com, while the final wave featuring the Air Jordan 5 “Black Metallic” Reimagined, the Swarovski x Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Stealth,” and the Air Jordan 3 “Seoul 2.0" will be dropping on SNKRS US at 10 AM ET.
