Saucony Releases a Daikanyama-Inspired Footwear Collection Tomorrow

Saucony is ushering in Fall 2026 with a multi-pair collection inspired by Tokyo's Daikanyama neighborhood.

The latest thematic capsule by "The Original Running Brand" includes a healthy mix of modern performance and retro style. Four silhouettes have been reimagined through a lens that capture the future-forward design of Daikanyama, a place often referred to as the "Brooklyn of Tokyo" thanks to its dense cluster of brewpubs, coffee roasters, live music scene, and other aesthetic locations. The four models are: Kinvara 1, ProGrid Omni 9, ProGrid Guide 7, and Endorphin Speed 5.

"This collection reflects the understated modernity of the iconic Daikanyama neighborhood in Tokyo," said Brian Moore, Chief Product officer at Saucony in an official press release. "The [city's] architecture leans brutalist, softened by ivy-covered concrete and weathered steel, where nature weaves through clean lines, creating a balance of industrial edge and quiet beauty; this contrast is exactly where the collection draws from. With aged textures and muted tones, the Daikanyama collection evokes a refined, retro-tech sensibility, inspired by one of Tokyo’s most beloved cultural enclaves and designed by former Tokyo resident Josh Fraser."

The Daikanyama-inspired range of footwear releases via Saucony.com and a wide array of global retailers on Friday, Sept. 18. Unisex sizing from 3.5-12, and sizes 13 and 14 will be available at pricing that ranges between $145 and $175.
