PLYRS UNTD Opens Players-Only NBA Performance Center in Los Angeles

PLYRS UNTD, the commercial and fan-facing brand of the NBPA, has opened a new players-only performance center in Los Angeles.

Located in Playa Vista, the facility will operate around the clock as a year-round training hub for NBA players. The West Coast location is designed to meet the heavy offseason demand in Los Angeles, giving athletes access to professional training and recovery resources on their own schedules.

The center was developed with direct input from players including Chet Holmgren, Kyrie Irving, Chris Paul, NBPA President Fred VanVleet, and members of the NBPA Executive Committee. Their feedback helped shape a space built around the preparation, rehabilitation, and recovery demands of today’s players.

Inside are two full-sized basketball courts built to league specifications, an athletic training room, a player-selected weight room, and indoor and outdoor turf areas. Recovery offerings include a sauna, steam room, dry floating, massage therapy room, and meditation pod.

The facility also includes conference rooms, a family room, and an onsite culinary program offering pre- and post-workout fueling. During the peak offseason period, players will have access to breakfast, lunch, a smoothie bar, physical therapy, athletic training, and massage services at select times.

PLYRS UNTD will also organize two NBA runs each week, creating a regular setting for players to compete and prepare ahead of the new season.

The Los Angeles center expands on the NBPA’s New York headquarters and The Sanctuary, its offseason performance retreat in Andalucía, Spain, as the organization continues investing in player-focused resources across major training hubs.
