"Pink Foam" Ribbon Laces Appear on the Nike Air Force 1 Vintage

Bruce Kilgore's "presidential" Nike Air Force 1 Low design continues to maintain relevance decades after its debut with the help of a steady stream of refreshing makeovers.

Recently, the Air-assisted silhouette emerged in a "Pink Foam/Grey Fog/Metallic Silver/White" color scheme. Although the medley of hues isn't new to the 42-year-old design, its presentation injects a breath of fresh air into the Air Force 1. The bulk of the pair indulges in a clean "White" finish, but the collar lining, Achilles' heel panel, tongue label, and laces deviate in different shades of pink. The most latter component boasts a fashion-forward look and material, with soft ribbon laces replacing traditional ones. The element likens Kilgore's basketball-informed model with balletcore offerings that are currently trending, showcasing the sneaker's versatility.

Underfoot, the partly-recycled tooling features Air text clad in pink.
