Nike's Beloved Total 90 III Returns in "Safety Orange"

If you weren't tapped in with the world of football throughout the 2000s, you might think that the Nike Total 90 III is simply a new design looking to capitalize on ongoing trends. And while a decent guess, you'd be wrong as the silhouette was the indoor trainer in '04.

With co-signs from some of the beautiful games' biggest names, the spike-less boot dominated public courts and makeshift grounds everywhere. Their Zoom Air cushioning brought the best of Nike Running and Basketball's performance insights to the indoor pitch, while the iconic 90 on the medial profile was rooted in the idea of being able to give it your all for a full match. A healthy mix of understated and flashing color schemes also made the Total 90 III highly successful, as it allowed ballers to make an impression before even touching the football. For one of its impending looks, the silhouette has taken on a shimmering citrus makeover that firmly harkens back to Nike Football's golden era.
