These Are Some of the Nike Air Max Plus Styles Expected Spring 2026

Sean McDowell's Nike Air Max Plus might've been developed as a category-pushing running shoe in the late 1990s, but it's enjoyed more time in the spotlight as a street-style staple, finding cult-like followings in London, the Paris Metropolitan Area, and Australia.

The silhouette is still a few years removed from its next milestone anniversary (30th), but it continues to form part of the Swoosh's mainstay line of products. Throughout 2026, McDowell's Tuned Air pioneer is expected to land at a wide array of retailers in a plethora of color schemes. During spring, it's expected that four newly-surfaced styles will finally see proper releases.

Pairs of the Air Max design arrive in Men's and Women's sizing. Each option maintains McDowell's vision intact given its performance-informed construction. Color schemes indulge in both the understated and bold, delivering color schemes like "Black/Sapphire" and "Black/Purple Dynasty" for those looking to enjoy the visible Air-cushioned runner from '98.
