First Looks at the Nike Air Max DN8 "Neon"
Nike is taking a bold step into 2025 by introducing the Air Max DN8, a fresh and dynamic model that brings a new twist to the Air Max legacy. In celebration of the Air Max 95’s 30th anniversary, Nike pays homage to the iconic silhouette with a new colorway for the DN8, aptly named “Neon.” This release beautifully merges the original 95 design elements with modern innovation, bridging the gap between generations of Air Max lovers.
The "Neon" colorway stays true to the signature features of the Air Max 95 “Neon,” most notably with its murdered-out soles and the striking neon green Air Max supports that were a hallmark of the original Sergio Lozano design. The grey gradient upper draws direct inspiration from the original’s erosion-inspired color gradient, giving a familiar look while adapting it to the new DN8 model. This nod to the past adds a fresh layer of nostalgia for sneaker enthusiasts while ushering in a new era for the Air Max family.
Given the upcoming 30th anniversary celebration of the Air Max 95, it’s no surprise that the DN8 "Neon" is expected to arrive around the same time, making it a perfect companion to the OG release.
Although the exact release date hasn't been confirmed, fans can likely expect it to coincide with Air Max Day in March 2025.
