Nike Sportswear is set to introduce the Air Max Dn WTR in time for fall.
Previously seen in a "Noble Red" hue, the winterized version of the Dynamic Air-cushioned silhouette has recently emerged in two new color schemes: "Deep Royal Blue/Black/Aluminum/Black" and "Anthracite/Black/Anthracite/White." All three looks of the modified Air Max sneaker thus far opt for color-blocking that presents its most eye-catching tone up-top, while the visible Air-donning tooling indulges in an understated finish.
As its name suggests, the Air Max Dn WTR (read: Winter) is ready for the elements. While it's unlikely the model delivers the same protection as Nike footwear backed with GORE-TEX technology, it's probable that the Swoosh's own water and slip-resistant findings reinforce the WTR-edition better than standard versions.
Enjoy official photos of the "Deep Royal Blue" and "Anthracite" Air Max Dn WTR pairs ahead. The duo should quietly release via Nike.com by the start of November.
In related sneaker news, the Air Jordan franchise is now on its 40th silhouette.
