First and second place are usually easy to separate, but Nike blurs that line with this latest Nike Air Max 95 “Black/Gold” and “White/Silver” pack. Drawing on classic podium finishes, both pairs deliver contrasting executions that feel equally considered, making it hard to rank one above the other.

The Nike Air Max 95 “Black/Gold” leans into a darker, more assertive palette. A black mesh base is paired with matching overlays, allowing the metallic gold wave panel to do most of the work. The glossy finish catches light across the upper, while subtle silver hits at the heel add a secondary layer of contrast. Underfoot, a blacked-out sole unit houses visible Air cushioning, keeping the focus on the upper’s metallic detailing.

On the other side, the Nike Air Max 95 “White/Silver” flips the approach. A clean white upper sets the foundation, with reflective silver panels running through the model’s signature gradient design. The execution feels lighter and more understated, but still leans into the same metallic theme. Matching white midsoles and clear Air units keep the look cohesive from top to bottom.

Both pairs stay true to Sergio Lozano’s original design language, with layered uppers inspired by human anatomy and visible Air cushioning that defined the model’s legacy. The contrasting finishes simply offer two different ways to approach the same idea—one bold, one refined.

The Nike Air Max 95 “Black/Gold” and Nike Air Max 95 “White/Silver” are available now in women's sizing via Nike.com for $200 each.
