Nike’s .SWOOSH initiative continues to blend digital innovation with physical sneaker culture, and its latest project brings a nostalgic gaming icon into the mix. Following the first official look at the Donkey Kong-themed Air Max 1 Low 'Poly,' a new design has surfaced—this time drawing inspiration from Tomb Raider and its legendary protagonist, Lara Croft.

Designed by the legend, Bryce "The Sandman" Wong, the Air Max 1 Low 'Poly' Tomb Raiders channels the aesthetic of Croft’s iconic outfit, with the sneaker’s green upper mirroring her signature tank top. The Web3-inspired pixelated design extends across the Swoosh and upper, reinforcing the digital theme that defines the .SWOOSH "Poly" series. A neutral grey base pixelates into a crisp white toe box, while a Canon Green mudguard adds a rugged touch, nodding to the adventurous spirit of the Tomb Raider franchise. The design is rounded out by a classic gum brown outsole, offering a timeless finish.
Behind the tongue, a large E replaces traditional product tags. The detail further plays into the video game inspiration, although it's important to note that the original Tomb Raider was rated T for teens. Wong's creation, however, can certainly be enjoyed by everyone.
This adventure to find the Nike Air Max 1 Low 'Poly' Tomb Raider begins on February 24th at 10AM PST and will be available for purchase on February 26th on the SNKRS app. The pair will be available for $150 in sizes 3.5-18M, exclusively for .SWOOSH members who complete the quest.
