COMME des GARÇONS BLACK x Nike Field General Releases Sept. 11

Comme des Garçons’ long-running partnership with Nike continues into Fall 2025, with the two returning for another elevated take—this time turning their focus to the retro-inspired Nike Field General.

Staying true to the label’s signature monochrome aesthetic, the collaboration arrives in an all-black leather build, detailed with distorted co-branded graphics throughout. Swooshes and Comme des Garçons BLACK branding repeat across the upper in a warped pattern, giving the silhouette an edge while maintaining the minimalist restraint the label is known for. Co-branded insoles complete the design.

As has often been the case with past CDG releases, this likely won’t be the only pair in the pipeline. The brand regularly delivers at least two color options per season, so an inverted white-and-black version may not be far behind.

The Comme des Garçons BLACK x Nike Field General is scheduled to release via Dover Street Market and the DSML E-SHOP on Thursday, Sept. 11. The sneaker retails for $160, whereas accompanying apparel varies in price.
