New Balance Applies a "Dark Grey" to the ABZORB 2000; Releases Nov. 26
New Balance may continue to expand its Made in USA lineup, but the Boston-based brand has also taken the last several years to reimagine its heritage through a futuristic lens. The extra-rugged ABZORB 2000 is one of the company's recent hits built through this process.
Inspired by running shoes of yesteryear, the model sees textile and synthetic panels come together across the busy upper, opting for shades of dark grey on its latest makeover. The robust, chunky ABZORB SBS-cushioned sole unit offers height, innovation, and boldness that isn't for everybody, but that's found a home amongst risk-takers and future-forward-enthusiasts. The silhouette also indulges in speed-informed elements that create dialogue with past performance products.
Enjoy official photos of the grey-covered NB ABZORB 2000 ahead. Pairs are scheduled to release via NewBalance.com and select shops like Foot Locker on Wednesday, Nov. 26. The sneaker is priced at $170.
