New Balance's Futuristic 2000 Gets a Dad-Approved "White/Navy" Look
The New Balance 2000 might be one of the brand's more future-forward silhouettes at the moment, but the model can't escape the Boston-based company's "dad shoe" reputation.
As Fall 2026 inches closer, the ABZORB-cushioned sneaker has emerged in a white-and-navy color scheme. While classic and versatile, those savvy enough with New Balance's catalog might immediately think of the 608v5 walking shoe—a comfortable, dad and mom-approved offering that retails at just $80. (Those more partial to Nike might think of the chunky and arguably ugly Air Monarch.)
