Jordan Brand continues its long-standing relationship with Chinese basketball star Guo Ailun with a special edition Air Jordan 40, set to release in Spring 2026. The Air Jordan 40 “Guo Ailun” builds on the guard’s deep history with the brand, following multiple past PE and retail collaborations that have resonated strongly in the Chinese market.

The Air Jordan 40 “Guo Ailun” arrives in a predominantly white leather upper, paired with soft pastel accents that distinguish it from standard inline colorways. Teal detailing lines the collar and heel, while light pink gradients wrap the midsole, adding contrast without overpowering the base. The overall presentation remains clean and controlled, aligning with the Air Jordan 40’s streamlined performance-focused design.

Branding details tie the pair directly to Guo. The heel features a subtle “GA” logo embossed into the padded collar, while Chinese characters are stamped along the inner lining, translating to a message that reflects focus, purpose, and direction—an ongoing theme across Guo Ailun’s Jordan Brand projects. These personal touches reinforce the player-exclusive roots of the release while still keeping the shoe accessible as a retail drop.
