Original Story Remington Guest and Heather Haber have been bridging the gap between art, philosophy, and contemporary fashion for 10 years through their label, Advisory Board Crystals. The brand has largely made a name for itself through its own products and authentication system, but the last few years have seen it expand into the competitive world of collaborations. On the footwear front, Guest and Haber wowed the world with an unconventional Vans project in August 2023. The couple-duo recently teased another footwear collaboration with Marvel's Fantastic Four and a mystery sportswear brand.

Announced to the world with a pair of photos published on Instagram, Advisory Board Crystals' linkup with Marvel plays into the idea of blind box collectibles. Packaging arrives in a booster pack-reminiscent foil, while the sneakers presumably arrive in a box inspired by Fantastic Four comic books.

Initial teasers see the number 1 on the top-right corner of the box, complete with nods to both Marvel and Abc. The brand owners invited netizens to take a guess on what the impending collaboration is and the official Advisory Board Crystals Instagram account has reacted positively to the following guesses:

• Silver Surfer theme, with pairs inspired by different versions (male and female) of the character
• PUMA collaboration (guesses for Vans, Adidas, ASICS, Nike were discarded, while a Saucony relationship was alluded to go public in 2026)
• Ties to San Diego Comic-Con taking place from July 24-27
