Ronnie Fieg and his Kith team have had an eventful first three months of 2025. In addition to opening up a new storefront in Osaka, Japan, the brand has launched K-Tech (a performance-wear line), the "greatest Peanuts collection ever," and number of sneakers with longtime partners. The latter category will soon include another expansive range with Adidas Football, which the New York City-native has teased in parts.
The first hint arrived in the form of a short clip that depicted a bunch of footballs piling up on top of each other before collapsing to reveal a Kith & Kin badge. The emblem featured a similar color palette to what appeared on some of the items Fieg and team co-developed with the Three Stripes for Summer 2018: red, white, blue, and gold. The video was followed up by an in-person activation held in Manhattan's Grand Central Terminal on April 3.
Folks were invited to take a penalty kick at a pop-up, co-branded mini-pitch in the storied train terminal. Those skilled (or lucky) enough to score on the goalkeeper would win an unreleased, never-before-seen pair of the Kith x Adidas Koresco National. Several winners left the station with the reworked football boot, helping build hype for Fieg and company's next project.
Throughout his most recent trip to Japan, the Kith frontman was pictured wearing an undisclosed silhouette. The pair featured the same fold-over tongue found on the beloved Adidas Predator line, but some netizens simply thought the Queens-born entrepreneur was wearing an older set of trainers. It turns out, however, that the red-colored style is one of the projects developed with Adidas Football for Spring 2025: the Predator 2002 IC.
Although the Predator franchise debuted in 1994, the Mania on which the indoor shoe is based took things to new heights. Its reworked design—which featured an elastic tongue and refined rubber fins—coincided with the 2002 World Cup held in Japan and South Korea. Fieg unveiling Kith's interpretation in Osaka, then, made perfect sense.
The lifestyle take features a red-colored, premium suede across the majority of the upper. The tongue forgoes its classic elastic strap, and features both Adidas and Kith's logos. Underfoot, the Predator Mania-inspired pair opts for a two-tone, indoor-informed sole unit that falls in line with other options from the Three Stripes' Football division.

While the football-boot-turned-sneaker might seem like just another tally in Kith's laundry list of collaborations, it's a big deal.
For starters, the pair and accompanying products signal Fieg's return to working with the Three Stripes on items for and inspired by the beautiful game. Between Spring 2017 and Summer 2018, the duo launched handfuls of kits, accessories, and footwear for performance on and off-the-pitch. The fictional Kith Cobras and Kith Flamingos were center-stage for all items, which included a number of boots.
On Monday, April 14, Fieg and company shared a peek at who would help them unveil the full scope of their latest Adidas Football collection. World Cup and Ballon d'Or winner, Kaká, was pictured wearing Kith-branded gear.

The legendary Brazilian footballer modeled a number of elevated apparel, footwear, and accessories items by the longtime collaborators.
Standouts from the collection include: the Stadium Coat, Suit Jacket & Pant. and Tracksuit. Kith also tapped ESPN, Chase, and DHL Express for custom football jerseys. Caps, scarves, and bags dominate accessories, while four different silhouettes form the footwear part of the collection.
Kaká is featured juggling a Kith-branded ball while wearing a clean pair of the Predator Mania boots he first wore throughout the early 2000s. The aforementioned Predator 2002 IC and Koresco National designs also get the Ronnie Fieg-treatment. Lastly, the oft-overlooked Predator Megaride rounds out the series.
