OTW by Vans continues to deliver left field skate shoes. For its latest collaborative project, the elevated segment of the original action sports brand has teamed up with Bad Idea by CHITO for a Half Cab 33, and accompanying t-shirt and sweatshirt.
The Bad Idea platform was founded with the sole mission of creating space for artists to be heard, seen, and celebrated. Since September 2024, CHITO has invited artists to work across different expressions and his OTW by Vans Half Cab 33 is no different.
Seoul-based artist Wreckpack lent his creative vision to the footwear, bringing a distinct airbrush style to the beloved mid-top silhouette. The bold interpretation of the classic Vans design sees an all-over treatment across the Half Cab, applying gradients of purple, red, green, and orange to the shoe. Elevated materials increase durability and comfort to ensure the collaboration looks good and performs well.
As aforementioned, the collaboration between CHITO's Bad Idea and OTW by Vans includes apparel. The street-ready t-shirt and sweatshirt include artwork from Liter, further advancing the mission of Bad Idea.
Enjoy campaign photos of the collaboration ahead. Items are scheduled to release via Vans.com and global partners on Thursday, Oct. 29. Pricing for the special Half Cab 33 is set at $120, whereas the tee and sweatshirt are $65 and $85, respectively.
