The Curry Fox 1 "Happy Fox Day" Drops in Alternate Green Colorway on December 20
Under Armour’s Curry Brand is adding another exciting chapter to its story with the release of the Curry Fox 1, the debut signature sneaker for Sacramento Kings All-Star De’Aaron Fox. After a year of anticipation, the model’s rollout begins with two colorways: the “Happy Fox Day” edition on December 6th and this alternate green colorway on December 20th, coinciding with Fox’s birthday.
The alternate “Happy Fox Day” colorway perfectly fits the holiday season, showcasing a Christmas-inspired mix of rich green shades. The shoe's upper is dominated by a deep pine green, with mesh, synthetic, and leather materials all adding texture and depth to the look. Gold accents are strategically placed across the shoe, with intricate gold patterns on the lace strap and heel. The gold tongue logo adds a luxurious touch, while multi-colored laces add a pop of playful vibrancy.
Fox’s unique signature logo is prominently featured on the Curry Fox 1, cleverly incorporating a fox shape, the number 5, and the letter "D" in one unified design. Another clever touch is the lace strap, which ends with a design resembling a fox’s tail, paying homage to the mascot that has come to represent De’Aaron Fox’s agility and quickness on the court.
As for performance, the Curry Fox 1 doesn’t disappoint. The shoe utilizes Under Armour's FLOW cushioning, renowned for its lightweight feel and responsive energy return. A TPU heel counter offers stability and support, while the outsole is designed with an abstract, gauze-like tread pattern for traction and control on the court.
The alternate Curry Fox 1 “Happy Fox Day” will release on December 20th, exclusively at Under Armour and Dick’s Sporting Goods, with a retail price of $120.
