ThriftCon made its second stop of 2026 in Miami on April 4, following its earlier event in Atlanta. The convention continues to position itself as more than a traditional resale event, bringing together vendors, collectors, and shoppers in a setting that blends retail with cultural programming.
A central feature of the Miami event was the ThriftConversations panel, Secret Tapes: Skateboarding’s Path from Parking Lots to Pop Culture. The discussion included Geoff Rowley, Bam Margera, Kareem Campbell, and Don Brown, who reflected on skateboarding’s shift from underground culture to a broader mainstream presence. The influence of Tony Hawk Pro Skater was noted as a key moment in that transition.
The event floor featured over 150 vendors offering a mix of vintage clothing, collectibles, vinyl, and home goods. The selection ranged across decades, with a balance of rare items and more accessible pieces. Attendees included KidSuper founder Colm Dillane and WNBA All-Star Monique Billings.
Additional activations included Tide’s “Vintage by the Pound,” where attendees could sort through large quantities of unpicked garments, restocked throughout the day. Club Y2K, presented by Magic City Flea, focused on early-2000s styles, while The Vault highlighted higher-end collectible pieces from select vendors.
More than 8,000 people attended the Miami event. ThriftCon’s 2026 tour continues with upcoming stops in New Orleans, Denver, and New York City.
