This Nike Vomero Plus Is Inspired by the Stars in the Sky on Your Night Runs

Throughout history, Nike, Inc. has drawn inspiration from a plethora of places for some of its innovative performance products. References to nature, architecture, and more have also informed special takes on fan-favorite styles. For its latest Vomero Plus running shoe, the Swoosh has taken to starry skies for a "Life Lime" ensemble.

Likely part of a larger collection à la Nike Running Poets, the newly-surfaced Vomero Plus sees a "Life Lime/Smoke Grey/Vast Grey/Life Lime" color scheme. The medley of tones isn't inherently the pair's most-defining detail, but it seems to draw inspiration from what is: stars. Footbeds feature a milky way-shaped series of stars, which likely informed the running shoe's soft yellow-and-grey makeover. Reflective accents appear throughout the upper, shining like stars in the sky while on nighttime runs. The sneaker arrives with a purplish towel that doubles down on the space muse.
