The road to the 2026 FIFA World Cup will see some of the sport's biggest players go all-out on both innovative and nostalgic efforts to cultivate energy for football's biggest stage. Nike has been no different, reviving the Total 90 III indoor shoe from 2004 earlier in the year.
Known for its offset lacing, large 90 branding, and association to some of the game's greats, the T90 franchise and third silhouette has quickly won over new audiences in its most recent run. A number of original finishes have returned to deliver potent nostalgia to those around in the early aughts. A healthy mix of all-new looks has maintained folks interested, specifically those looking to make a statement with their footwear.
For its latest appearance, the retro footballing shoe has taken on two (faux) snakeskin makeovers. "Fire Red" and "Pale Ivory" tones cover the bulk of the upper, which features iconic branding elements across both profiles. Underfoot, the sole unit stays out of the way, allowing for the wild outfits up top to revel in the spotlight.
Firm Nike.com release details haven't been disclosed by the brand as of yet, but that's expected to change as September inches closer. In the meantime, enjoy official photos of both snakeskin-covered Total 90 III offerings ahead.
