Sabrina Ionescu has been part of the Nike, Inc. family since April 2020. In September 2023, she debuted her first signature basketball sneaker with the brand. Aptly-named the Sabrina 1, the low-top silhouette went on to become one of the most popular hoops models in North America—at all levels. Today, a first-look at the WNBA star's third signature shoe—the Sabrina 3—has surfaced across social media.
Caught on video by Instagram user @760kix, the pair appears in its inaugural "Blueprint" color scheme, which pairs "Glacier Blue/Light Armory Blue/Still Blue" hues.

Tech specs for Ionescu's next Nike Basketball have been confirmed by the sneaker's lead designer, Ben Nethongkome, revealing a package similar to its two predecessors.
The New York Liberty guard and other NBA and WNBA players have taken a liking to lightweight, low-profile basketball shoes, with the Nike Sabrina series leading the charge. The most overt update from the current Sabrina 2 is the Kobe 11 Elite Low-reminiscent elements across the profiles. It's possible the design choice has been informed by a need for better lockdown at the sides; the cage-like component also bears some resemblance to Kevin Durant's KD 18.
Underfoot, a fine-tuned edition of Cushlon 3.0 foam delivers the same responsive, comfortable ride found on previous iterations of the Ionescu's franchise, although an injected Phylon carrier joins the mix.
As with other offerings from the popular series, the Nike Sabrina 3 draws inspiration from its muse. Woven textiles and embroidered nod to Ionescu's Romanian heritage, while the vertical, off-axis swoosh on the medial side represents the glass ceilings the WNBA champion continues to shatter.
"I hope [the Sabrina 3] inspires all hoopers, especially young girls, helping them continue to break down barriers and believe in themselves," shared Ionescu.
Pairs of the debut Sabrina 3 "Blueprint" are set to release via Nike.com on Thursday, July 24, for $135. A special edition Dri-FIT apparel collection by Sabrina Ionescu will accompany the shoes.
