The Nike Mind 001 “Team Red” continues the brand’s neuroscience-led footwear exploration with a deeper, more saturated finish for Spring 2026.
Set to release in April for $95, the Nike Mind 001 “Team Red” arrives in a Team Red/University Red/Midnight Navy/Chrome colorway. The sculpted mule silhouette is rendered in rich red tones up top, transitioning subtly into darker shades toward the midsole and outsole. Midnight Navy traction pods underfoot create contrast, while a Chrome Swoosh at the lateral side adds a sharp, reflective accent.
Unlike traditional recovery slides, the Nike Mind 001 line is rooted in Nike’s Mind Science platform — a neuroscience-based initiative focused on helping wearers feel calm, centered, and regulated. The footbed features circular pressure nodes designed to stimulate the sole, while breathable perforations across the vamp promote airflow. Inside, the insole is stamped with “Nike Mind” and “Mind Science Department,” reinforcing the model’s purpose beyond aesthetics.
The slip-on build remains minimal and seamless, with a padded collar and sculpted foam walls that wrap the foot. The result is a mule designed less around softness and more around sensory response — a deliberate shift in how Nike approaches off-court footwear.
The Nike Mind 001 “Team Red”” is set to release in April 2026 via Nike.com and select retailers. The pair retails for $95.
