The Nike Ja 2 "Scratch" Releases May 1st

The Nike Ja 2 series has delivered its fair share of clean and bold colorways, but the next up might just be its most aggressive yet. Introducing the Nike Ja 2 “Scratch,” a clawed-up courtside statement dressed in fierce details and Memphis grit.

Serving as an homage to the Memphis Grizzlies’ retro “Vancouver” jerseys, the pair arrives in a teal base, with striking red Swooshes carved by black scratch marks. This wild motif stretches across the lateral and medial panels, reinforcing the Grizzlies theme and Ja Morant’s ferocious playing style. Black liners, red-tinted tongue branding, and a classic white sole unit complete the look with balance and contrast.

It’s clear Nike and Ja aren’t afraid to let this series roar a little louder as we head into Summer 2025. Official images of the Ja 2 “Scratch” have surfaced, with pairs expected to release on Nike.com and select retailers on May 1st, 2025.
