Nike Presents First Fan Gear Capsule for Mexico's Chivas de Guadalajara
Nike Football shook up social media when it announced a multi-year partnership with Mexico's storied Club Deportivo Guadalajara—better known as Chivas de Guadalajara. With Liga MX's Apertura 2026 tournament set to kick off on July 16, the Swoosh has prepped a fan gear collection for all "ChivaHermanos" as they get ready to see if "El Rebaño Sagrado" can end its near-decade-long league title drought.
As is the case in partnerships with clubs like Paris Saint-Germain and F.C. Barcelona, the Swoosh's collaboration with Mexico's Chivas sees innovative on-pitch kits for the organization's professional athletes. Fan gear consists of a Replica edition of the Home, Away, and additional jerseys, but rounds out offerings with graphic t-shirts, fleece hoodies, and caps. An inaugural drop sees straightforward designs that include a mix of Swoosh logos, Chivas de Guadalajara messaging, and club crest graphics. Navy, red, white, and grey colors appear throughout Nike's first modern merch line for all "Chivistas" (the brand had a short stint with the Mexican football club in the late 1990s).
Product has begun rolling out through DICK'S Sporting Goods, with prices ranging from $35-$85. Keep an eye on Nike.com for additional drops, which are expected to land by Saturday, July 18, to coincide with Chivas' home opener for the Apertura '26 tournament.
