Devin Booker continues to quietly build momentum behind his second signature sneaker, the Nike Book 2, and his latest on-court appearance gives us a first look at a brand-new colorway. During warmups in Los Angeles, Booker laced up the Nike Book 2 “Spiridon,” a pair that taps into unmistakable early-2000s running DNA while carrying forward the minimalist design language that defines his growing signature line.
Though the Nike Book 2 was unveiled earlier this season, this “Spiridon” edition pushes the concept into more nostalgic territory. The pair mirrors the visual language of Nike’s classic Air Zoom Spiridon, pairing metallic silver mesh with bold hits of red across the sculpted Swoosh, mini forefoot branding, and tongue detailing. Black overlays wrap the lower portion of the upper, creating a layered contrast that feels both retro and modern.
Underfoot, the Book 2’s streamlined midsole remains intact, keeping its low-to-the-ground feel and smooth rocker shape. The combination of performance practicality and heritage-inspired styling lines up with Booker’s consistent approach to footwear design: clean, understated silhouettes with subtle callbacks to Nike history.
With this Book 2 “Spiridon,” the connection is direct but not derivative—bridging basketball and running aesthetics in a way that fits naturally within Booker’s signature catalog.
Stay tuned for firm Nike.com release details of the Book 2. The design's Spiridon-inspired "Metallic Silver" look is expected to release in anticipation of the 2026 NBA All-Star Weekend in Los Angeles.
