Nike Baltoro “Safety Orange” Brings More ACG Energy

The Nike Baltoro’s return has been more measured than loud, but the ACG-rooted boot is still finding ways to stay in rotation. After last year’s Stüssy collaboration helped reintroduce the rugged silhouette to a wider audience, Nike has slowly followed with in-line colorways — the next being this “Chalk/Safety Orange” edition first previewed during SNKRS Showcase earlier this year.

While the Baltoro isn’t the most obvious summer shoe, this pair does lighten the mood. Chalk leather overlays cover the bulk of the upper, paired with Sail TPU paneling and breathable textile sections around the collar and forefoot. The contrast comes through black eyestays, tongue detailing, lining, toe tooling, and midsole work, giving the boot a stronger outdoor feel beneath the softer upper tones.

Safety Orange does most of the heavy lifting visually. The textured Swoosh arrives in the bright citrus shade, matched by Nike branding at the heel and small hits around the rear. It gives the otherwise neutral build a clear ACG-style punch without overcomplicating the palette.

The Nike Baltoro “Chalk/Safety Orange” is expected to release via Nike.com and select retailers on June 11th, 2026.
