Los Angeles Sports-Inspired “What The LA” Air Force 1 Low Returns Holiday 2026
Nike is bringing back the Air Force 1 Low “What The LA” for Holiday 2026.
Originally released in 2019, the pair returns seven years later with the same mismatched approach that made the first release stand out. The design pulls from Los Angeles sports culture, using a mix of bold colors, split paneling, and varied materials across each shoe.

The “What The LA” Air Force 1 Low features different color blocking from left to right, with hits of red, purple, yellow, blue, green, orange, tan, and black throughout the upper. Details include layered Swooshes, mismatched laces, speckled midsoles, translucent outsoles, and “Los Angeles” script branding on the lateral heel.
The pair fits into Nike’s long-running “What The” series, which combines multiple inspirations into one design. In this case, the shoe serves as a tribute to Los Angeles and the city’s mix of teams, neighborhoods, and culture.
The Nike Air Force 1 Low “What The LA” is expected to return during Holiday 2026. More release details are expected closer to launch.
For more on the Swoosh, Ja Morant's final Nike Ja 3 colorways are coming soon.
