More Camo Swooshes Land on the Nike Air Force 1 Low
Nike, Inc.'s reliance on the Air Force 1 Low is set to change by the end of the year, but the silhouette continues making a statement while it can.
Ahead of summer, Bruce Kilgore's 42-year-old design has emerged in handfuls of new, compelling styles. Although a recent collaboration with Lil Yachty has been well-received, the "presidential" model has kept busy through inline offerings. The latest take on the Air Force 1 features green camouflage swooshes and Achilles' heel panels, aligning with the retro-feeling "Desert Khaki/Pink Foam" pair that surfaced late last month.
By comparison, the newly-surfaced style indulges in a more familiar color-blocking across its iconic upper. Fabric overlays around the forefoot, along the tongue, and throughout the heel opt for a pitch "Black" makeup. Leather at the toe and mid-foot revert to an off-white tone, while the Air-branded midsole also favors a play on the "colorless" look. Radial-patterned traction (which has been reworked on the Kobe Bryant Air Force 1 Protro "Soft Yellow") rounds out the summer-friendly package in "Gum Medium Brown."
Pairs are available now on Nike.com for $130.
