If you're a fan of the Nike Air Force 1 Low and Foamposite footwear, you likely own the mashup Air Force 1 Foamposite that had its moment throughout the 2010s. You'll be able to re-up on "Pewter" and "Gym Red" pairs throughout Summer 2027.

According to the duo of X user @zSneakerHeadz and Romania's Sneaker Market, both metallic Foamposite-covered updated to Bruce Kilgore's design from 1983 are returning by mid-2027 as part of Nike Sportswear's seasonal release calendar. The ruby-colored style was last seen in 2018, while the metallic "Pewter" AF-1 launched in October 2012 to much fanfare—especially amongst those who fell in love with the "Pewter" Air Foamposite One in March 2011.

It's likely that more original colorways of the Foamposite-covered Air Force 1 land by the end of 2027. Nike Sportswear could even reissue other trims of Kilgore's design as it explores the hybrid design from yesteryear.
