The Nigo x Nike Air Force 3 Low "Multi-Color" Releases On October 4th

After much anticipation, the collaboration between Nike and streetwear titan Nigo, the visionary founder of A BATHING APE, is finally set to make its mark with the release of the Air Force 3 Low.

This collaboration comes amidst ongoing legal tensions between Nike and BAPE regarding design imitations, highlighting the complex relationship between homage and originality in sneaker culture.

Nigo, a pivotal figure in streetwear, has long been recognized for his ability to blend iconic designs with unique twists. His tenure at BAPE introduced revolutionary sneakers like the BAPE STA and SKULL STA, which drew heavy inspiration from classic Nike silhouettes, particularly the Air Force 1. This history makes his collaboration with Nike especially poignant, as it bridges past inspirations with present innovations.

The upcoming Nigo x Nike Air Force 3 "Multi-Color" release showcases this blend beautifully. The sneaker is dressed in an eye-catching array of patent leathers featuring bold colors such as Blue Void, Tour Yellow, Pink Foam, University Red, and Lucky Green. This colorful ensemble is complemented by chrome “NIGO FORCE” branding on the heels and unique graphics on the tongue, making it a standout piece in any collection. The Nike x NIGO Air Force III and apparel collection will be available September 28 exclusively at Otsumo Plaza in Tokyo, humanmade.jp, and the "I Know Nigo 2" pop-up in New York, followed by a global launch on October 4th via SNKRS.
