Human Made x Nike Air Force 1 '01 by NIGO Expected in 2027

Tomoaki Nagao (長尾 智明)—better known across the globe as NIGO (ニゴー)—is expected to release another Nike Air Force 1 through his Human Made imprint sometime in 2027.

The news arrives by way of Romania's Sneaker Market outlet and X user @brandon1an, and follows the launch of the Japanese legend’s "Burnt Sunrise" Air Force 1 '01 project with j-hope from BTS.

It’s still too early to know exactly how this AF-1 by NIGO will look like, but the early report posits that the sneaker will include patent leather panels across the upper. Additionally, Human Made’s signature heart logo is expected to be embroidered on the lateral heel. Other special branding elements and custom packaging should arrive as part of the collaboration.

NIGO founded Human Made in 2010 and sold A BATHING APE® shortly after. He worked on handfuls of Human Made x adidas footwear between May 2019 and July 22, and has also launched inline pairs, but a collaboration with Nike will mark a new chapter for the Americana-heavy label.

Stay tuned for firm release details and official images of the Human Made Air Force 1 ‘01. If the project comes to fruition, it’s very possible that it kicks off a string of releases in different colorways over however long NIGO works with the Swoosh.
