Nike and the Museum of Modern Art are expanding their relationship this fall, with a new MoMA x Nike Air Rift collaboration set to release in September 2026 for $130.

The project takes on Nike’s split-toe Air Rift in two distinct colorways. One pair arrives predominantly in Black, accented by bright green, pink, and blue details, while the second goes much louder in Hyper Verde, pairing the vivid green upper with contrasting pink and yellow accents.

Both pairs retain the Air Rift’s distinctive split-toe construction and perforated upper, with MoMA branding appearing alongside Nike detailing throughout. Special blue-and-pink packaging continues the colorful presentation.

Nike and MoMA are also leaning fully into the split-toe theme with matching tabi socks made specifically for the release. The socks will be offered in Pink and White, each featuring co-branded Nike Swoosh and MoMA embroidery around the ankle.

The MoMA x Nike Air Rift collection is expected to release in September 2026, with each sneaker priced at $130. A specific launch date and full availability details have yet to be confirmed.

And the Air Rift won’t be the only major footwear project coming from the partnership. MoMA and Jordan Brand are also preparing an Air Jordan 1 High collaboration, giving the museum another iconic silhouette to work with as its footwear lineup continues to grow.
