Martine Rose and Nike continue their creative partnership with the unveiling of official images for the upcoming Shox MR4 “Metallic Platinum” and “Fire Red” colorways, releasing alongside a matching apparel capsule for Fall 2025.

First introduced on the runway at Rose’s London Fashion Week presentation in 2022, the Shox MR4 Mule has become a defining piece of the designer’s collaboration with Nike — transforming the early-2000s Shox R4 into a daring, elongated silhouette that merges sportswear with couture design sensibilities.

The “Metallic Platinum” colorway adopts a sleek, futuristic tone with glossy silver panels and tonal grey detailing that highlights its aerodynamic shape. Although an official look has not yet surfaced, the “Fire Red” edition, on the other hand is expected to feature a bold red base complemented by black and gold accents — evoking an unmistakably retro energy. Both pairs feature the MR4’s signature pointed toe, sculpted lines, and open-heel construction resting on an exaggerated Shox column system.

Accompanying the footwear is a coordinated apparel collection, featuring Rose’s tailored-meets-athletic approach — including track jackets, tapered trousers, and matching accessories that echo the shoes’ metallic and red tones.

The gaming-inspired Martine Rose x Nike Shox MR4 “Metallic Platinum” and “Fire Red” will release via Nike SNKRS and select retailers worldwide on Thursday, Oct. 30.

In other news from the Swoosh, the Air Max line continues to expand.
