Nike continues to honor Kobe Bryant’s legacy through special-edition footwear, and the next tribute arrives in the form of the Kobe x Nike Dunk Low "Lower Merion" Pack. The two-shoe collection pays homage to Bryant’s high school roots at Lower Merion High School in Pennsylvania, with the first pair now confirmed to release via SNKRS Reserve on March 23.

This marks a notable shift, as Nike appears to be leaning more heavily into pre-orders for high-tier releases. Recently, the Swooshman Nike GT Future was loaded for a SNKRS Reserve, and now the Kobe Dunk Lows have followed, suggesting Nike is increasingly using its preorder program for some of its biggest drops.

So far, official images have surfaced for the Team Red colorway, which draws clear inspiration from Lower Merion’s school colors. The design arrives with a rich burgundy satin-like upper paired with tonal leather overlays, creating a layered look that leans into both heritage basketball style and premium materials.

A standout detail arrives on the Swoosh, which features a textured, chenille-style finish outlined in white piping for contrast. Matching white trim continues across the upper, helping break up the otherwise monochromatic design while keeping the focus on the deep red palette.

Additional nods to Kobe Bryant appear throughout the shoe. His signature “Sheath” logo is embroidered on the tongue, while interior branding continues the tribute to the Lakers legend. At the heel, subtle markings and graphic hits reinforce the connection to Bryant’s Lower Merion roots.

The design sits atop a gum rubber outsole, a classic choice that complements the warm burgundy tones while keeping the overall look grounded in traditional Dunk styling.

The Kobe x Nike Dunk Low "Lower Merion" Pack is expected to include two colorways in total, though only the Team Red pair has surfaced so far. The release will take place via SNKRS Reserve on March 23 at 8 AM PT, with the second pair expected to surface soon ahead of launch.
