Ronnie Fieg recently took to the Joe and Jada podcast to unveil a never-before-seen "Reverse Linen" Nike Air Force 1 collaboration by Kith.
The pair, shared on Instagram by Shawn "Pecas" Costner, surfaces a little while after the New York City-based brand was linked to a "Linen" Air Max 95 for Kids. Fieg has never been coy about sharing his affinity for the "Linen/Atmosphere" color scheme, which debuted as a Japan-exclusive CO.JP AF-1 in 2001. Fieg helped Nike retro the beloved pair in 2016 to commemorate the opening of Kith Miami and it seems he's further aiding the Swoosh in experimenting with the iconic look.
Perhaps a nod to the OG's 25th anniversary, the unreleased "Reverse Linen" Air Force 1 sees a soft pink tone across the bulk of its upper. A sand-reminiscent color, then, takes over profile Swooshes, "AIR" text on the midsole's lateral side, and the outsole, effectively flipping the standard "Linen" ensemble.
Release details haven't been disclosed by either party involved, but that's expected to change soon.
