All signs are pointing to Nike's 2026 Air Max Day being one for the ages. Shortly after inviting Yeat and Hiroshi Fujiwara of fragment design to preview this year's marquee silhouette—Air Liquid Max—Foot Locker has tapped a group of creative forces based in New York City in its search for models to star in its own campaign for the futuristic design.
Shared to Instagram by user @liljupiterr, the announcement invites any and all interested parties to the Foot Locker on Fordham Road in the Bronx (263 East Fordham Road) on Saturday, March 7, to answer the casting call. The event will be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and is completely free. No restrictions have been expressed in any messaging thus far, meaning all can participate for a chance to join official campaign efforts as Air Max Day (March 26) inches closer.
The casting call includes a number of different hosts—including Moses the Jeweler, Lola Brooke, Mikey Phelps, Mel Ramirez, Alexandra Smith, Izzy Izzo, and Lil Jupiterr.
If you need some Air Max for the event, check out available pairs via FootLocker.com and Nike.com.
