The New Balance Rover Clog Is Exclusive to Korea

    2026.06.09

New Balance’s slip-on category keeps getting cozier, with the newly surfaced New Balance Rover Clog offering a relaxed, padded take on everyday off-duty footwear.

Released exclusively in Korea, the Rover Clog sits somewhere between a mule, a house shoe, and an outdoor-minded slip-on. It carries a rounded, almost moc-toe-style upper with soft suede paneling, a wide forefoot strap, and a thick wraparound sole unit that gives the silhouette more structure than a standard clog. The result is a pair that feels built for slow mornings, coffee runs, travel days, and the kind of casual styling that has made slip-ons a major part of the current footwear cycle.

The design arrives in three simple colorways: grey, beige, and black. Each pair keeps the branding minimal, with small New Balance hits appearing on the strap, sidewall, and insole. The upper is finished with tonal stitching and suede overlays, while the raised midsole gives the shoe a more substantial feel underfoot. It is not quite a sneaker, not quite a loafer, and not fully a clog either — which is probably what makes it work.

The grey pair may be the cleanest of the group, leaning into New Balance’s familiar neutral language with a slightly darker sole and muted suede upper. The beige option gives the design a warmer, lounge-ready feel, while the black colorway keeps things more understated and wearable through colder months.

For now, the New Balance Rover Clog has released exclusively in Korea, with no confirmed word on a wider launch. Given the brand’s recent success with easy-wearing lifestyle silhouettes, though, this feels like the kind of model that could find a much larger audience if New Balance decides to bring it stateside.

Stay tuned for any updates on a wider release.
