Concepts Unveils New Balance 997 “Montage” Collaboration; Releases Dec. 18
It looks like Concepts is planning to close out 2025 with a New Balance 997 collaboration.
Previewed via social media, the project has been dubbed "Montage" and features grey and faux-aged elements alongside a series of eye-catching hues. No stranger to the Boston-based footwear institution, Deon Point and team could reference past work with New Balance on its next NB 997.
In 2014, Concepts launched a "Rosé" collab with NB that's been widely considered a "grail" by dedicated fans of both parties. The pair is featured within an initial teaser video for the "Montage" style. An early preview of the newer pair showcases a silver N logo on the lateral profile, intentionally-yellowed midsole accents, and hits of mustard yellow, bold pink, and muted blues across the upper.
The "Montage" 997 by Concepts releases Thursday, Dec. 11, via CNCPTS.com beginning at 10 a.m. EST. An online drawing opens on Tuesday, Dec. 9, at 12 p.m. EST for an in-store pick-up at Concepts' Boston and New York City locations. Pairs will also release on NewBalance.com on December 18 at 10 AM ET.
