Aimé Leon Dore Teases Brown & Red New Balance 991 Collabs
Teddy Santis and his Aimé Leon Dore imprint have found their groove. After launching more than a handful highly-coveted offerings with New Balance during the spring and summer seasons, the New York City-based label returns with more N-branded footwear for Fall/Winter 2025.
The full extent of the partnership's range for the impending quarter has yet to be seen, but the first sneaker teased in the forthcoming collection's lookbook is a brown-and-red-colored New Balance 991. No stranger to the silhouette, Aimé Leon Dore's latest take on the 24-year-old design abandons premium leather builds seen on past styles in favor of an execution that couples perforated leather bases with pig suede overlays. The result is a pair that's season-appropriate and more aligned with some of the NB 991's most iconic finishes. A second tan-and-red pair was previewed by Santis via Instagram in mid-December.
Stay tuned for firm release details and looks at other bits of ALD and company's next New Balance projects.
