The partnership between Aimé Leon Dore and New Balance continues to flourish under the creative direction of Teddy Santis.

Known for revitalizing New Balance’s Made in USA line, Santis has played a pivotal role in the resurgence of vintage New Balance models. Following these triumphs, Aimé Leon Dore now sets its sights on the recently reintroduced New Balance 1000.

Aime Leon Dore’s reinterpretation of the New Balance 1000 is set to launch in three colorways: black, cream, and silver.

First looks at the latter version showcases an upper that combines beautifully textured mesh with tonal wavy leather overlays, achieving a seamless and stylish aesthetic. The shoe features subtle Aime branding on the toe and tongue and the iconic New Balance N logo in a matching cream tone on the midfoot.

Further branding elements include New Balance 1000 logos on the heel and a co-branded New Balance and Aime Leon Dore logo on the insole. Accents of grey along the eyestays and on the heel and toe portions complement the minimal color palette, enhancing the shoe’s elegant design. The look is completed with a cream midsole and a matching rubber outsole.

Pairs will first be released via raffles on ALD's official webstore on June 5th, followed by a release of the "White" colorway on NewBalance.com on June 20th, 2024.
