Shades of "Sail" Bring A Delicate Look to the Air Jordan 1 Low
Peter Moore's 40-year-old Air Jordan 1 Low design has come a long way since its origins as a more casual basketball shoe than its taller counterpart. Over the last handful of years, the silhouette has become one of the most popular, introducing a new generation to Michael Jordan's legacy. Recently, a pair covered in shades of "Sail" surfaced, further expanding the model's fashionable catalog.
Akin to other Air Jordan and Nike Sportswear offerings, the multi-colored retro takes on a number of muted tones for the impending change of season. Moore's original design is mostly faithfully recreated, with leather panels across the upper opting for straightforward finishes. The midsole underfoot indulges in a faintly-"aged" makeover that harkens back to the original Air Jordan 1's debut era. Jumpman branding on the tongue and insole deviate from the bulk of the sneaker's color palette in vibrant red flair; Wings insignias stitched onto the spine follow suit.
Enjoy official photos of the soft-colored Jordan 1 Low retro ahead. Pairs should hit Nike.com throughout summer for around $115.
