Pokémon's Eevee Gets Its Own Crocs Classic Platform Clog
The partnership between Satoshi Tajiri's Pokémon and Crocs continues to grow, inviting more and more figures from the beloved franchise across popular slip-on footwear. The latest Classic Platform Clog commemorates Eevee.
Introduced in Generation I of Pokémon, Eevee has been beloved by hardcore and casual fans alike for its lovable appearance and ability to evolve into different Pokémon. It's this detail that seemingly informs the newly-surfaced Crocs Classic Platform Clog, as the Croslite™ upper and exaggerated sole unit opt for a tie-dye and gradient presentation. Shades of pink, yellow, blue, and green claim real estate across the Women's shoe, which also features star motifs throughout. A charm bracelet-reminiscent chain attaches at the Poké Ball-inspired heel strap hinges and runs across the top of the forefoot. Jolteon, Flareon, and other evolutions of Eevee appear as dangling, detachable charms.
Lastly, the aforementioned heel strap opts for a pink fur makeover. The design choice could be a nod to either Sylveon or the fan-made Pink Eevee.
