Converse Basketball has officially added Payton Pritchard to its growing roster of athletes, joining the Boston Celtics guard alongside fellow NBA stars Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Kelly Oubre Jr..
A native of Oregon, Pritchard has quickly become a fan favorite in Boston, known for his fearless play, clutch shooting, and confidence on the court. He now steps into a brand relationship that celebrates those traits. In Converse’s words, Pritchard "embodies the essence of Converse hoops – a dynamic fusion of athleticism, creativity, and self-expression.”
"As a player, I’m always looking for ways to push the boundaries of what’s possible, and Converse shares that same mindset,” said Pritchard. “I’m excited to join the Converse Basketball family and help inspire the next generation of athletes to find their voice and express themselves on and off the court.”
The partnership feels especially fitting given Converse’s Boston roots. With Pritchard making headlines at TD Garden and Converse continuing to push the limits of on-court style and off-court creativity. According to Converse CEO Jared Carver, “With a shared commitment to the sport and our community, Payton and Converse are poised to make an impact in the world of basketball, both here in Boston and beyond.”
The move further solidifies Converse’s position at the intersection of sport, culture, and fashion—three pillars that continue to drive its hoops philosophy forward.
