ASICS Readies the GEL-KAYANO® 12.1 for the World Cup™ in Brazil & USA-Friendly Makeovers

ASICS SportStyle recently outfitted its GEL-KAYANO® 12.1 in two color schemes fit for the 2026 FIFA World Cup™ tournament.

While not official collaborations with any particular nation's football squads, the newly-surfaced duo boasts color schemes that evoke images of both the USA and Brazil flags. The former's official color description—"White/Independence Blue"—reinforces the connection to the United States of America—in particular July 4th.

The GEL-KAYANO® 12.1, which couples the GEL-KAYANO® 12's upper with the NIMBUS® 17's tooling, features breathable mesh bases done in either pristine "White" or pitch "Black." Each option sets the stage for emblematic colors—navy-and-red, green-and-yellow—to the aforementioned countries. Visible GEL™ cushioning underfoot joins in on the fun, rounding out each eye-catching ensemble with vibrant flair.
