Vans Could Bring Back the Pink and White Pearlized Old Skool 36s

Vans may be preparing to revisit two of its OTW Old Skool 36 “Pearlized” colorways, with fresh retailer imagery surfacing for the “Pink/Black” and “Black/White” pairs.

The two styles first appeared across 2024 and 2025, bringing a more elevated treatment to the Old Skool 36 with pearl and metallic details running across the Sidestripe, toe and heel. Both also carry the intentionally worn-in look that has become familiar across OTW by Vans releases, including distressed midsoles and contrasting material treatments.

The “Pink/Black” pair uses a bright pink canvas base with black overlays, white contrast stitching and cream-colored laces. Pearls and smaller metallic studs trace the Sidestripe and toe, giving the otherwise classic Old Skool build a more decorative finish.

Its “Black/White” counterpart flips to a more neutral setup, combining an off-white canvas base with black overlays and the same mix of pearl and metallic detailing. A slightly aged sole unit completes the vintage-inspired look.

There is currently no confirmed release date, but the appearance of new retailer product images suggests both pairs could be preparing for another run in late 2026 or early 2027. Vans is also revisiting the Navy “Pearlized” Old Skool 36 alongside other Pearlized releases, adding more weight to the possibility that the brand is cycling back through the series.

For now, the Pink/Black and Black/White OTW Old Skool 36 Pearlized pairs should be treated as potential restocks rather than confirmed releases. Expect more details to surface as retailers begin updating their upcoming Vans inventory.
